This video runs through a comprehensive set of tests that demonstrates the ultra-fast OpenGL-accelerated (900%) 3D transparency rendering mode in PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 and a 4X increase in shaded 3D frame rates and interactivity using Vertex Buffer Objects (VBO) on AMD FirePro cards. OGLplus 0.14.0 released

OGLplus is a lightweight library implementing an object-oriented facade over the OpenGL® (version 3 and higher) C-language API. It provides wrappers which automate resource management and make the use of OpenGL in C++ safer and easier. It also includes more than 80 examples of usage. This version brings (partial) support for MSVC 11 beta and MinGW, a wrapper for the AMB_performance_monitor extension and more.

Linderdaum Puzzle released with 3D flow UI

Linderdaum released next major version of its in-development Android game Linderdaum Puzzle. The game uses Linderdaum Engine to render smooth GUI with 3D images gallery. Linderdaum Puzzle runs on Android 2.1+ smart-phones and tablets via OpenGL ES 2.0 and is available from Google Play. Source code of the game is available within Linderdaum Engine SDK. Linderdaum Engine is an open source purely object-oriented 3D gaming engine for Microsoft Windows and Google Android written in C++. It is designed to be an integrated solution for the development of interactive 3D applications, for game, industrial and scientific visualization.

The nopper.tv website now hosts 20 basic and complex OpenGL 3 and 4 examples. The provided source code compiles and runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
