Wine v0.9.17 Windows compatibililty layer enhances shader support via the OpenGL Shading Language

Wine is an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix that does not require Microsoft Windows to run Windows applications. It uses the OpenGL API and the OpenGL Shading Language to for handling DirectX pixel and vertex shaders. The new v0.9.17 improves Direct3D support and uses the Gecko engine for MSHTML rendering.
