MeshLab 1.1.0 Released

MeshLab is an open source, portable, and extensible system for the visualization using OpenGL, processing and editing of large unstructured 3D triangular meshes. The system is aimed to help the processing of the typical not-so-small soup of triangles that are common in 3D scanning. MeshLab providing a set of tools for editing, cleaning, healing, inspecting, rendering and converting this kind of meshes. MeshLab 1.1.0 introduces many important an appealing new features like the possibility of computing Ambient Occlusion maps on the GPU using OpenGL. Another notable improvement is the possibility of managing multiple meshes on different layers, and the new features for the processing of raw 3D scanning data. ICP alignment and Poisson based merging of multiple range maps is now possible within MeshLab.
