OpenGL based Eye-Sys v1.0 Beta 3 seeks Beta testers

IDV, Inc seeks beta testers for Eye-Sys®, a new data-driven real-time visualization system launching commercially in Q4 2007. OpenTK 0.3.12 released

OpenTK is a cross-platform game development library for .Net/Mono. This release features ~50% faster OpenGL extension loading, new tutorials on fixed function Lighting and Vertex Arrays and a cross-platform tool that reports OpenGL extensions supported by your hardware. It also introduces support for framerate limiting and improves inline documentation.

AntTweakBar 1.1 Released

AntTweakBar 1.1 has been released. This version includes a long-awaited feature: the String variable type (and keyboard input for value editing), along with several improvements. AntTweakBar is a small and easy-to-use C/C++ library that allows programmers to quickly add a light and intuitive GUI into OpenGL based graphic programs to interactively tweak them. It is free, works with Windows and Linux, and can be easily intergated with your own windowing system or existing toolkits (GLUT, SDL, GLFW,...).

Drishti volume exploration and presentation tool v0.1.8 released

Drishti is a volume exploration and presentation tool using OpenGL Shading Language shaders and 3D textures. Drishti is designed to let users explore volumetric datasets as well as use in presentations. The software now provides ability to visualize tensors using superellipsoids, networks visualization, importing of image stacks including DICOM images and has improved graphical interface for remapping 16/32bit volumes to 8bit volumes. AMD OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG 1.0 technologies coming to a Freescale i.MX processor near you

AMD today announced Freescale Semiconductor will license its 2D and 3D graphics technology. Freescale Semiconductor will use the AMD graphics technologies to equip its i.MX processors with OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG 1.0 technologies. OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG technologies are designed for mobile applications where battery life is key, including portable gaming, navigation and media player devices.
