3D eBook Shot uses the OpenGL API to prototype book cover designs

Nov 29, 2004

3D eBook Shot transforms your artwork into a 3D book cover prototype in real time using OpenGL API hardware acceleration. You can easily rotate, pan and zoom your book in real-time, which helps visualize the finished design and make better looking ebook covers. 3D eBook Shot can then export high quality bitmap images of your book which can be edited for inclusion on your web site or in promotional literature. Unlike many other eBook cover design packages, 3D eBook Shot produces true perspective correct 3D images in real time.

NVIDIA OpenGL API Developer Tools Survey

Nov 18, 2004

NVIDIA wants to know what kind of OpenGL tools you need to create awesome products?  Last year Nvidia listened to OpenGL API developer feedback and added dozens of new features to FX Composer, NVPerfHUD, Melody, and the Texture Tools.  They also started working on a new performance analysis infrastructure for OpenGL applications.

Dont hold back!  Tell Nvidia what theyҒre we doing right, and where theyre screwing up!  They want to hear how you think they should invest time and energy on OpenGL developer tools. Several survey participants will be selected at random to receive a GeForce 6800 GT or the popular book GPU Gems: Programming Techniques, Tips, and Tricks for Real-Time Graphics.
