Company Description

Longcat is a start-up located in Lyon and Chalon-sur-Saône, in France, developping innovative products in the audio field. Made up of 4 specialists with previous experiences in sound or image, Longcat works on tools for post-production and the industry.

Job Description

At the head of a small team of 2-3 developers, you will be in charge of leading the development of innovative audio software products. With the other members of the company, you will participate actively in the definition of each products' functionalities.

Candidate Profile

With a minimum Master's degree in computer science or with equivalent industry experience, you must have a first experience with managing a software development team and C++ expertise. You also have very good analysis skills and master software architecture. You also have a particular interest for audio technologies, GUI and idealy, very good knowledge of signal processing or real time 3D. Curious, open and passionate, you are willing to invest yourself in a young and dynamic company. Written and oral fluency in french is an absolute necessity.

C++, OpenGL, signal processing, Qt, Windows, Visual Studio, Subversion

Conditions

• CDI starting 01/04/2008 in Chalon-sur-Saône or Lyon, France.
• Annual salary: 30-35 k€.
