Heart failure in adults and children is one of the biggest issues in healthcare and are cited as the largest cause of death in the US and worldwide (300 000 per year in the US).

At Stanford, we have created the first technology that can non-invasively see inside the heart in 3D with flow and pressure using a simple 8 minute MRI exam with computational post-processing. This will revolutionize heart failure and help millions of people. For a start, check out our online demo at http://www.morpheusmedical.net, and your heart will be lifted!

We are a funded startup leveraging the latest and greatest of computational capabilities, physics, OpenGL, HTML 5 and cloud services.

The founding team of Morpheus Medical is composed of 4 people:
* The head of the pediatric MRI unit at Stanford with a BS from Caltech and a PhD from Stanford
* A Stanford PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics specialized in cloud computing on large clusters
* A Caltech graduate in CS with a PhD in Bioengineering and currently an interventional radiology fellow at Stanford
* A Cambridge University PhD in quantum matter with a master in business from Stanford GSB and ten years experience in building tech companies

We need brilliant engineers that want to make an impact in the lives of millions of kids and adults around the world. The prototype product has been used at Stanford Hospital in over 100 patients and already impacted the care of several kids with congenital heart disease.  We now need to assemble a team to translate the prototype into a viable clinical product.  If you like physics, computation and a team of very smart people dedicated to making a difference, come and join us!
