As a Graphics Validation Engineer, you will be developing comprehensive software and platform Test suites to validate the latest in world-class graphics and multi-core technologies.
Responsibilities
- Define test plans for industry standard functionality and unique features.
- Create custom applications that fill unique validation needs related to Game or Visual Simulation development.
- Help build the infrastructure, process flow, automation solutions and test processes to provide highly efficient product coverage.
- Execute test procedures and debugging failures once the product is available.
- Frequently interact with developers, marketing, and other validation engineers to optimize product definition, root cause issues and verify fixes.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics with 4+ years of related industry experience
- Experience with either OpenGL* (validation or development)
- Experience with Graphics testing and developing white box and black box tests to facilitate functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
Additional Experience Requirements
- If your experience is development-centric, you should have demonstrable experience in Game Development, Visual Simulation, Synthetic Vision or Workstation Tools.
- If your experience is validation-centric, you should have strong validation skills, as well as, the ability to comprehend the big picture in several functional areas including graphics. technology, XP* and/or
- Passion for quality, thrive in a fast paced, challenging environment, and enjoy working as an integral member of the product development team.
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills, as well as strong communication skills.
- A self-driven individual who is capable and excited to learn about new technologies.
- Experience with the mathematics of dynamic motion, image processing, or advanced filtering would be an added advantage.
