Cebra specializes in virtual multi-user 3D worlds for broadband internet. For this purpose we developed the VirtuoCity platform. VirtuoCity is a revolutionary platform for 3D visualization of dynamic virtual worlds, especially created for online multi-user environments. This technology can be used for many applications, from city innovation to computer gaming.
Cebra is a small but growing company. We have an informal but professional company culture. There is plenty room for individual ideas and contributions.
Because of growing demand for our technology we are looking for creative and enthusiastic software developers who know their way around C++ and have affinity with 3D graphics.
Function
As developer you are involved with development and application of our VirtuoCity technology. For both core engine development and application thereof in our projects. You work in a small team and contribute substantially to design and implementation.
Profile
You understand that providing great technology is a team effort. Not only your outstanding individual contribution is important, but also helping others. You are intelligent; you take initiative and like to solve challenging problems. You are a fast learner and an independent worker. While doing this you pay attention to both the overall concept and the details.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree or equivalent in computer science, game/media technologies
- Strong in C++ and thorough knowledge of Object Oriented programming techniques
- Experience with OpenGL or DirectX
- Familiar with (graphics) algorithms and data structures
- Experience with 3D Studio MAX (SDK)
- Experience with writing and debugging code on both Windows and Linux
- Affinity with web-technologies
- Flexible and solution driven
- Excellent communications skills
