Drawing a rectangle and being able rotate on it's axis.

Hi everyone, sorry if this is an extremely basic question but i'm a complete beginner.

At the moment I'm looking for how to draw a rectangle and rotate it on its axis with the 'A' and 'D' key and forwards and backwards with the 'W' and 'S' key. At the moment I have a basic triangle that I've been trying to mess around with moving but no luck so far. I'm trying to make a very basic car game just so I can get into the hang of drawing and movement.

I'm not expecting anyone to do it for me, but if anyone could give a brief snippit of information or point me towards somewhere where I could discover this myself I would be very greatfull.

If you have any question please ask and I'll try to answer them as quickly as possible
