To draw hemisphere (half sphere)
Hi to all,
how to draw hemisphere (half sphere) in opengl. if any body know please send me the syntax for hemisphere.
how is that an item of importance for OpenGL community?
it's not more important than any other newbie question on the forum. and you seriously couldn't figure out to find algorithm for generating triangulated sphere and then just modify it to do only half a sphere? or, if you're using shaders, you can use discard with object-space position to cut off unwanted hemisphere.
if you google "opengl half-sphere", literally first result leads to a topic on this forum with algorithm for drawing hemisphere using fixed pipeline.
