    OpenGL and Graphic Card

    Hi there! I have just been member of this forum. I'm sorry because English is not my native language. So there may be some incorrect centences in this mesaage

    I am intersted in graphic programming with OpenGL and C/C++ languages. I am confused about what is relationship between OpenGL, GL griver, graphic card driver and OS of course. I wonder what is the interconnction and interaction among their. Thanks.

    OpenGL is a graphics API. It is built in graphics driver, which is, of course, highly dependant on the operating system. Of course, there is a Mesa3D solution, but that's another story.
