    OpenGL and Graphic Card

    Hi there! I have just been member of this forum. I'm sorry because English is not my native language. So there may be some incorrect centences in this mesaage

    I am intersted in graphic programming with OpenGL and C/C++ languages. I am confused about what is relationship between OpenGL, GL griver, graphic card driver and OS of course. I wonder what is the interconnction and interaction among their. Thanks.

    OpenGL is a graphics API. It is built in graphics driver, which is, of course, highly dependant on the operating system. There is a Mesa3D solution, but that's another story.

    Sig: http://glhlib.sourceforge.net
    an open source GLU replacement library. Much more modern than GLU.
    float matrix[16], inverse_matrix[16];
    glhLoadIdentityf2(matrix);
    glhTranslatef2(matrix, 0.0, 0.0, 5.0);
    glhRotateAboutXf2(matrix, angleInRadians);
    glhScalef2(matrix, 1.0, 1.0, -1.0);
    glhQuickInvertMatrixf2(matrix, inverse_matrix);
    glUniformMatrix4fv(uniformLocation1, 1, FALSE, matrix);
    glUniformMatrix4fv(uniformLocation2, 1, FALSE, inverse_matrix);
