    You mean like the 'Low-level 3D API' list from this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...hics_libraries ? If not I'm afraid I don't quite get your question.

    Re: 3D graphics supporting APIs

    There are others as well

    PHIGS
    PHIGS+
    HP'S PEX
    HP's Starbase
    Heidi
    Brender
    GKS
    Hoops
    Reality Lab (bought by MS and turned into Direct3D)
    GameGen
    Apple's Rave
    Java3D
    Fahrenheit (never published)
    Cosmo3D
    Nature Sucks

    and probably thousands of raytracers, radiosity renderers.

    Go with it? WTF?

    Sig: http://glhlib.sourceforge.net
    an open source GLU replacement library. Much more modern than GLU.
    float matrix[16], inverse_matrix[16];
    glhLoadIdentityf2(matrix);
    glhTranslatef2(matrix, 0.0, 0.0, 5.0);
    glhRotateAboutXf2(matrix, angleInRadians);
    glhScalef2(matrix, 1.0, 1.0, -1.0);
    glhQuickInvertMatrixf2(matrix, inverse_matrix);
    glUniformMatrix4fv(uniformLocation1, 1, FALSE, matrix);
    glUniformMatrix4fv(uniformLocation2, 1, FALSE, inverse_matrix);
