    GL_NV_path_rendering missing from current glext.h

    I want to start using the GL_NV_path_rendering extension but the current glext.h from http://www.opengl.org/registry/ does not have GL_NV_path_rendering. It only goes as far as GL_EXT_framebuffer_multisample_blit_scaled.

    Can the OpenGL guys please update the header? I thought that the header gets updated each time a new extension is listed.

    This is a really big extension so I don't want to spend ages defining all the functions and enums...

    GLEW and the SDK's GL Load libraries both handle this. Which is another reason to use a loader; they're more likely to be more up-to-date than the registry's headers.

    I eventually found that NVIDIA had defined their own header for the NV path rendering in the SDK samples. So I just grabbed the file.

    I am using Linux so I prefer to directly link to the native libGL functions so I don't need to mess around with extension libraries. As my programs are used in controlled NVIDIA environments I don't need to worry about portability. Heck I don't even bother to check for extension strings as I know all our hardware supports the same stuff.
