    Lighting not working

I just got a new gateway laptop with an Intel HD graphics card in it and I'm running Ubuntu 10.10.
Here's the problem. I wrote an OpenGL program on my desktop (also Ubuntu 10.10) and everything works perfectly. However, when I compile it on my laptop though the lighting doesn't working properly...
I had a friend also compile and run in on his machine and the lighting works properly.

I haven't installed any drivers on my laptop. Are they any packages I need to install to make it work properly? Should I try GLSL shaders instead?

Yeah Sorry about that. I'm new to these forums and I wasn't sure where to post it.

    Can I remove this post?

    Thanks!
