new to osl: how to compile ?

I can find all the documention I need about osl specification, but nothing about the concrete part of it: how to use it inside a visual c++ project ? does it require a special compiler ? (I have an ATI) is it a library for visual c++ ? is there a website dedicated to it, where I could find some samples ?
