Alternatives to SGIs Performer lib ?

    Dear Gurus,

Are there any alternatives to SGIs Performer lib ?
It should be corssplatform (Linux, Windows) and free of charge.
Are there any OpenGL based gamelibraries which come close to
    the Performer capabilities ?

    regards, Leopold Zyka

If it is for non commersial usage , the Gizmo3D package is free. On Linux it is free for commersial usage as well.

    Have a look at http://www.tooltech-software.com

There's a whole bunch of scenegraph systems that come more or less close to what performer does. Search on SourceForge for scenegraph and you will find many of them.

We'd need to know more about your specific feature set to suggest one over the others.
