Unified shadign language
No doubt that every gl freak is now waiting for the next release to incorporate an efficient, clear and concise pixel/vertex programming language.
And I think it should not be like the one speciifed in 3DLabs proposal - C like syntax. Why not using something similar to Direct3D's?

As a user I'd much prefer a C like syntax than a assembly like one.

It's also a question of optimization, a higher level of abstraction gives the IHVs more wiggle room to construct new weird hardware that runs really fast.
