    parallel Line to the view

    I am working on an selectingsystem for my 3d game.
    I already programmed the collision determination,
    but now i need to "draw" a line, which runs parallel
    to the view.(I hope you understand what i mean -_-)
    The field of view angle is 45 degree, and the line shuld start at the position of the courser.

    i hope you could help me!! Thanks in in advance!
