    Please Test

Hi. I'm looking to release my game for the Mac, but I'm not sure I've done everything correctly. Could somebody d/l and lemme know if it runs or not? Thanks!
    http://home.earthlink.net/~mvignol/b...rol_3d.mac.sit

it requires SDL availdable at http://www.libsdl.org. I dunno if I should include that in the sit file or not. Or if I'm even allowed to.

Sorry, several things wrong with it. First the program "barrel_patrol_3d" is a text file, not an application. Second, even if I turn it into an app with ResEdit, I get an error -39 on launch.

DOH! Hmm... I'll try uploading from a mac. I copied it over to my PC to get upload. Maybe that messed something up. Thanks for trying it.

Could you try this version of the APP:
    http://home.earthlink.net/~mvignol/b...3d_app.mac.sit

It's just the barrel_patrol_3d application. It's the original Mac SIT archive that I used to get the app file and restuff with other docs.

THANKS A LOT. I'll have access to a mac later to fix the whole thing if this works.

Okay, I've sent it now from a mac. Should work... the original, that is.

I know people are a little hesitant to just d/l something that they don't know anything about, especially when it seems the person doesn't have it together. So here's a screenshot:

sigh. I compiled on a G4 Mac under Mac OS 9.1 (9.0.1?). Did you get an error message or did it just bomb?

Guess this is going to be harder than I thought.

    Re: Please Test

Menu bar only, eh? Rats. The textures, etc. are in a file that gets loaded. It runs on my girlfriend's G4 (where I compiled it). I guess I'll look into the various settings for the compiler. Maybe there's something funny going on.
