    newbie, glut and linux

    Hi!
    Is needed mensa to use glut under linux? Or do just need glut? If so, after downloading it what do i need to do to make it work? I've read some information but it's quite confusing, and after spending some hours working on it I could'nt get things right, and i canīt compile the program.
    If you can help me,please do . I'm looking forward to say bye to windows .

    Hi !

    You need OpenGL or Mesa to get GLUT working, if you need to instal, it depends on your Linux, most new Linux distributions (with XFreee 4.x) comes with Mesa already.

    Could you specify what kind of problem you have when you try to compile GLUT ?
