    Radeon 32 and XFree86

Is this possible? I've read that XFree does and does not support the Radeon card. Can anyone tell me if it's true? I'd hate to get the card then find out XFree doesn't support it yet.

    Talk about selective quoting!

    The quote continues with:

Rage 128's and Radeon's are, however, supported by separate drivers, and owners of such adapters should consult the documentation provided with these drivers
So yes, it is supported (as the info in
the URL I posted previously stated)

to get 3d support you need to get the latest xfree86 code from the DRI people. http://dri.sourceforge.net/ follow the compilation guide. it isn't much fun but it can be made to work.
