NVIDIA DDS PhotoShop plugin: new filters

It's a nice tool from NVIDIA, but what the hell are (in mipmap generation part):
    - Kaiser Filter
    - Linear Light Kaiser
    - Full DFT

    ???

I know what are Cubic and Box filters. But what about the others? What do they do? Which one is better? etc...
Only thing I found out is that DFT stands for Discrete Fourier Transform

There was a couple articles in GDMag, i think in decembers and januarys. The article talks about using different filters than the typical box to generate the mipmaps. You might be able to find the article on Gamasutra.
