Hmmm ... as it starts it ask if i want fullscreen mode 2 times. Now and then the ground became partly black too. And when i exit my computer hangs ...

doesn't sound too good..
i'll figure out why your computer crashed, maybe i forgot something when i removed the sound stuff;
it doesn't ask me for fullscreen 2 times...
has to be some windows stuff.
what graphics card do you have and did it run fast there?

I have a Matrox G400 16MB and Athlon 500.
Yes, it did run fast, it was kinda hard to not drive into the walls all the time ...
