Starting OpenGl in Borland C++ 5.0/C++Builder

Hi guys,

I have a problem: i don’t know how to call OpenGL from within Borland C++ or Borland C++Builder. I do know which headers to include (gl.h,glu.h,glaux.h) but i can’t use the gl functions and commands. I am also interested in simple and clear OpenGl- and DirectX-documentation. I hope someone is willing to help me.

Kind regards,

Simon-Paul

Well, I know this is a stupid question, but have you set up the DC and RC of the window you want to draw on?

If you are using C++ Builder 3, I know of a OpenGL Panel that encapsulates most everything in linking OpenGL in Windows: http://members.xoom.com/~juryu/panel.zip

Give it a try.
