    What is GLaux?

    Hi,

I have several places seen that people include a header called <GL/GLaux.h>. I have this header with my Visual C++ and when looking in the header it looks much like a simplified version of GLUT except it can load BMP files.

So what is this library? I don't seem to be able to find any information about it anywhere, even in the Microsoft docs. Is it obsolete? Is it Microsoft specific? Or what is it?

This is something that you should not use, its been obsolete for 1000 years.
