    SMD File format?

    Does anyone know the SMD file format used by Half-life?

    Hi !

    The all mighty solution almost always works, goto google and enter smd, file, format, half & life as keywords, the first hit as a specification available for download

    Yeah, i've tried that with no succes. All i got was one 404.

    Hi. I am not sure (perhaps I am totally wrong) but from what I remember I've read somwehere that it's a kind of modified md3 model (or at least modified kind of some popular model). Not much information still...

    one thing to remember is that lots of developers wont release specs on their model formats because they dont want you to be able to load their models in your games. Plus they might be using it for half life 2
