on this new rig, with any 6 series Catalyst driver openGL won't work (Quake 4, Doom 3, Google Earth, CatalystControlCenter 3d preview, ...), on a x1600pro that I've used to verify the same troubleshooting I had with my x1950 and 6.10 / 6.11 drivers

I've installed the drivers on a PC with AGP cards ( x850 / x1600 ) mounted, and openGL works fine

did they forget at ATI that these new PCI-E cards abandon openGL?

or did I miss somewhere the right answer?
