Win 2000 problem with child windows

Has anyone else encountered this problem? When rendering to a child window under Win 2000 using OpenGL, the bottom and right sides of the window become clipped.

After several failed search attempts, I found a bug report on Microsoft's site here: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q272/2/22.ASP

But it's nine months old and hasn't been fixed yet. I'd hate to have to implement the stupid solution they suggest on their site.

    Any suggestions???

It's only relevant to software rendering, and I don't think that MS is planning to update that any time soon (or ever). My suggestion would be to use hardware rendering
