Maya 2.0 on NT and Voodoo2

Can AliasWavefront Maya 2.0 take advantage of OpenGL acceleration with a Voodoo2 3D accelerator card?

Almost certainly not; if you are very determined, you *might* get some kind of output using WinGlide (since I believe the V2 ICD sits on top of Glide), but I doubt it would be very usable. Probably more like hardware deceleration than acceleration.

Don't suppose you know of any cards that WOULD work do you?

I believe there's a list of officially recommended systems somewhere on www.aw.sgi.com
You might find there to be no low-end consumer cards on there (in keeping with the cost of the app) but I'd expect that to change with the advent of the cheaper cut-down versions of Maya. Or maybe not.

I'd be surprised if a TNT or GeForce didn't do the trick, but DON'T count on that since I've never tried it.
