As i install OpenGL, a message says that DirectX may not work properly with the resolution change.
Maybe has something to do with it?
Can someone tell me why the colours flickers when i execute BGCONFIG and i use the 3D accelerating?

I've got the same problem with my i740. It's probably a double buffering issue, and there might be an option in BGII to fix this, but I don't know which :-(

I did it! I made it work ! I solved the problem by downloading and installing the SGI OpenGL implementation.. don't ask-me why.. but it works now.
