Hi there,

To disable S3TC (texture compression) in Quake 3 Arena, you need to edit your q3config.cfg file.

Open your q3config.cfg file using a standard text editor like WordPad.

Look for the line that says:

seta r_ext_compress_textures "1"

Change the "1" to "0"

Save the changes to the q3config.cfg file, and restart Quake 3 Arena.

S3TC should now be turned off.
