Ubuntu is "Linux for Humans" like they call it sometimes. Solaris is rather for nuclear power plants.
Solaris has not many advantages on the desktop but scales very well for high availability...
you should post this to the jogl forum:
http://www.javagaming.org/index.php/board,25.0.html
or directly as bug report to the jogl project page. Looks like a regression bug for me.

search for java.awt.Robot in the javadoc for an easy way for making screen shots.

>Thing is the GLSL doc is actually a implementation specification
Yes, but is this a problem? It covers everything and explains every function/token, restructure it to anything... well structured...
thats great, but the GLSL doc converted into XML would be even better since most GL.next code will be in shaders anyway this would allow better IDE integration.
is there a machine readable list of all deprecated functions and enums available? (like a simple text file or header files without the deprecated functionality?)
I hope someone sets up a webcam in the GL BOF, I am really interested in the Q&A at the end of the BOF ;).
its probably rendered with OpenGL 3.0 (GL_REFLECTED_LOGO_EXT) and was the main reason for the delay ;)
