troubles with freeglut.lib

Hi, I've downloaded freeglut 2.8.0 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeglut/files/freeglut/2.8.0/freeglut-2.8.0.tar.gz/download?use_mirror=ignum
and there is no .lib file...:(
What to do?

You need to compile it with your favorite compiler. If you want pre-built libraries, check this

If you are using MSVC compiler, check this out
