Hi,
I'm working on a rain drops effect - for now only falling drops. I have found one approach from 2006 (http://developer.amd.com/media/gpu_assets/GDC06-Advanced_D3D_Tutorial_Day-Tatarchuk-Rain.pdf) where they use 8bit rain texture and post-processing. Since this is from 2006.. does anybody know about something more recent (I couldn't find so much)?
