Anything on Nvidia hardware for this? AMD_gpu_association or ARB/EXT? I would like to check the GPU speed of the card...

On Linux, you just create a GLXContext on the X screen for a specific GPU.

You mean like the clock speed of the chip? NVControl is one way to get at that.
