yes, the more SDK's the better. In fact, let's keep them all separate on separate websites, referenced from diverse places. Oh, we already have that.
Believe it or not, I'm happy and grateful for your efforts on this - I just thought the C++ argument needed to be made. I've made my effort, and you've not budged one inch. So I give up, with my head hung low.
The best of British to you all, and please prefix all your macros with GLSDK_ or something.

Sigh, I am about to scream bloody murder with this whole C# fetish I keep hearing about.
Use whatever you want to, and if people want these SDK's to be in Language "X" then get cracking on the code for the SDK with Language "X"... and stop talking about it. Help push the GL3 API into mainstream instead of us talking about it. :( Sorry about the rant. :)

Eh? C# 'fetish'? What are you on about?

Real Life at this time prevents me from doing more than talk about the SDK right now. Also don't have a GL3 capable card. Silly details.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to contribute to an SDK. I'm full of admiration and puzzlement for those that do though - and I can't help envying them their job, as I work an average of 16 hours a day.

I hear you! I work 12hrs each day and have done 16 before, and it sucks the life out of you and the drive to do much is gone...

Apprently you all need better jobs or to move country as I work 7.5h a day and I've only worked longer than that 4, maybe 5, times in the last 8 months AND I work in the game industry, a place known for it's long hours.
One of the joys of being from a 'work to live' culture I guess...

yeah thanks for that bob. I live in the UK too, and we have the longest working hours of any other country in the EU. With the recession looming you might want to consider doing some voluntary overtime, otherwise you'll be near the top of the list of redundancies. Just a bit of friendly advice. Where I work, the better you are at your job, the more work you are assigned - and therefore the more valuable you are to the company.
By the way, I get paid a helluva lot of money, which goes some way to compensate.

ah, well the money does make the difference, yeah; I personally feel underpaid where I am right now but then I'm new to the industry and need to prove myself.
I feel pretty safe in my job right now mostly because the company has plenty of projects on the go, more coming in and we are short on programmers. (I'm also good at what I do and my lead has had nothing but praise for my work and he's not the kind of person to hold back on his true opinion).
I'm not sure how much further off topic this thread can be taken to be honest ;)

They do say the electric chair is rather comfortable.
