Help with Coding

I am trying to produce a GUI with a OpenGL output screen and a textArea at attached the bottom.

But I don't have no CLUE how to do it. I would prefer help doing it in Java. Can any one supply me coding in order to do this?????

You might consider wxWindows instead. It's portable between Windows, Linux, MacOS, etc. See www.wxwindows.org. (http://www.wxwindows.org.)
