All the openGL experience I have has been with C++ in a linix lab. I want to work at home (Windows) and create some simple games and be able to create distributable cds (for Windows) so I don't have to compile everywhere when I decide I'm done with a project. So, what environment would you suggest for openGL/C++ that would work well for me. Preferably cheap or free. I've used Visual Studio a few times, but I don't feel like spending the money to get a copy of that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
