Not sure this is the place for this question but you guys have been so helpful so far so I thought I would throw it out there

I have an ati radeon 9700 pro 128mb
graphics card and was wondering is this going to be able to support me while I make video games and demo's and complex procedurals or should I shell out for a for a quatro or fireGL.

thanks for any help you can give

W

and thanks for all the help you have already given

No, sell it to me! http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/wink.gif
Now, besides the joke, the 9700 is one of the best video cards I can think at. If you are a starter, even a GeForce1 would be an overkill anyway.
As a side note, FireGL is now a modified 9700 and Quadro is a sligthly modified GeForce.
