Linux and createWindow

Hi,

I have a very simple problem. I only want to create a window under LINUX (suse 7.0). But the function glutCreateWindow(char*) produces a memory fault. Has somebody the same trouble?

I've got SuSE 7.0 and it works fine for me... is it the default install (or something near it) or is more of a "custom" job?
