OpenGL Installation

Hi,

When does the libGL and libGLU get installed. Does the graphics card driver installation, install these libraries ?.

They live in /usr/lib like any other library. If you use the Nvidia drivers libGL is installed by the driver. Otherwise a generic implementation is used (the real 3D driver then lives in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/ and is invoked by the libGL).
