program without glut?

Hi.

Does anyone have some simple code for me how to start an OpenGL prog without the use of glut?

For a quick tutorial using xlib, check this out:
http://www-europe.sgi.com/software/opengl/glandx/xlib/xlib.html

And it *does* work with the nvidia drivers that always seem to crash on programs using glut... (or at least mine do)
