can someone send me an example

i use windows and i want to show someone how to make a program in opengl,but they use linux. could anyone send me an example of a small opengl program, just so i can see how it is initialized in linux?

there are several simple examples at Nehe's great OpenGL tutorial site: http://nehe.gamedev.net/tutorials/lesson01.asp . Here you can find a Linux/GLX and a Linux/GLUT port of the lesson at the bottom, which simply displays an OpenGL-ready window.
