cannot install glut :(

ok im new to the linux world so don't be harsh if i ask some dumb question. but i tried installing glut and it keep saying

gcc: ../../../lib/libMesaGLU.so: no such file or directory.
gcc: ../../../lib/libMesaGL.so: no such file or directory.
But i installed mesa where do i find this file or what should i do??

You'll have to post a LOT more information before anyone can give you any meaningful help.

Like, what are you trying to do? What command line are you using to compile/link? etc etc etc.
