we have been using nvidias affine dot product depth replace - great
feature - on a Ti4800 ... now we tried to move the application to an
FX5900 Ultra ... normal dot product depth replace is still working
fine ... however when trying to use affine dot product depth replace
we can't see our "real objects" in the scene anymore ... deactivating
depth test shows that they are correctly drawn. just seems like the
depth buffer has the wrong values assigned ...

when using glOrtho instead of gluPerspective the affine dot product
depth replace is working fine again ...

Since the affine dot product replace provides some performance
advantages over the standard replace, we would like to continue to use
the affine "mode" with gluPerspective .

does anyone have an idea what we could do in order to?

maybe someone from nvidia might be intrested - feature works fine on Ti4800 and not on FX5900 Ultra
