Is there an extension for this? This is especially for NVidia guys, but if there any other hw people here, that would be cool too.

No, there isn't an explicit extension for them. Not exactly surprising, because no one supports them...

However, they fall out as a subset of NV_vertex_program, if you use the ARL instruction.
