View Full Version : WinXP becomes Dull when remains idle for long

Hi
Ladies & gentlemen after a long time. The problem is related to window XP only.
The problem is when my computer remains idle for a long time(half hour or so) & then i run my OGL program there is no rendering in the OGL window. The window appears as if glClear(...) is not called or it can't be able to clear the window properly.
This problem exists with windows XP only not with Window 98 & windows 2000.

Do all OGL apps have this problem, or just yours?
What graphics card do you have, and what drivers?

Do you have an OpenGL screensaver that perhaps is not releasing stuff correctly when it terminates, giving you software rendering for any subsequent OpenGL programs?

ya may b the screen saver or power management is giving problem.
