problem with bliting

i am trying to blit text on opengl window. it appears in the center of the screen. when i enlarge the window ,text goes up... it no more remains at the center of the window.
i am getting this problem with DELL computers. My code works on Rest of the computers.. can you help me finding a solution

Are you sure that this is because of the Dell comp, not because of the video card?
